On , I was a passenger on Train # traveling from to . The rail car with my assigned seat was very dirty. A dining car was supposed to be operating during the trip, offering hot food and snacks. The dining car was closed. An employee did have some boxes of candy, a few bags of pretzels, and some cans of warm soda pop for sale. This was clearly inadequate for the hundreds of passengers on board.
This poor service is inexcusable. I deserve a refund of a portion of my fare for the terrible conditions on this trip. A copy of my ticket is enclosed.
